2011 Resume
Hi everyone, We are nearly at the end of the year and I want to make a quick resume of about this crazy photographic year. Year started in Sydney for me. I was finishing my studies there. 2010 has been great with the Swiss Rowing Team, so in September I took a plane for Sydney. After one month, I went to New Zealand for the 2010 World Rowing Championships, the week before I did some pictures with the amazing Aussie Rowing Team. Then December, blabla, new year and we are in 2011. January was pretty low regarding rowing for me! I had to rest due to a (minor) back injury and anyway. I visited...

JREH for “Journée Romande d’Entraînement Hivernal” or “Romand (French speaking part of Switzerland – yes we have 4 national languages) Rowing Training Day”. Organised by the CA Vevey, the JREH regroups Swiss-French rowers during winter. The day is split with two 5000m rows, in any possible boat. The word of the day is “fun”. People are here to spend some time together, no matter your rowing level. My album tries to reflect this: a wide range or rowers from the 11yo beginner to the 77yo master and including the 25yo international rower. The...

First, I know I missed the ArmadaCup. I Missed pics of Emma Twigg winning the race and Mahe Drysdale (5 times rowing world champion). It was a hard choice to make – between rowing; my primary passion, and freeride; which is a really amazing sport. I took freeride and don’t regret it. Here is why… Just coming back from Chaumont where I spent the day with BikeAttitude.net the freeride association of Neuchâtel (Switzerland). It was an amazing day which I started by standing speechless for an hour on top of the panoramic tour of Chaumont. Here is a little taste of...

Dear potential photo buyer, If you have been directed to this page, it is likely that you have requested the use of an image or images for free or minimal compensation. As professional photographers, we receive requests for free images on a regular basis. In a perfect world, each of us would love to be able to respond in a positive manner and assist, especially with projects or efforts related to areas such as education, social issues, and conservation of natural resources. It is fair to say that in many cases, we wish we had the time and resources to do more to assist than just send...

My Pictures HERE The second edition of the Red Bull X-Row took place from Zug to Luzern. 6 Teams were fighting for the title. Who is going to be the fastest on the water and on the field? The Red Bull X-Row is unique in its format because it is not just a rowing race. The athletes have to row 3 pieces on the water and run 3 pieces across land, totaling 18km on water and 7km on the ground. Starting from the See-Club Zug, passing by the oh so famous Hohlegasse, where Wilhelm Tell was waiting for the rowers, and the finish at the Verkehrshaus Luzern (transport museum) with an amazing spring...
