JREH Schiffenen
JREH for “Journée Romande d’Entraînement Hivernal” or “Romand (French speaking part of Switzerland – yes we have 4 national languages) Rowing Training Day”. Organised by the CA Vevey, the JREH regroups Swiss-French rowers during winter. The day is split with two 5000m rows, in any possible boat. The word of the day is “fun”. People are here to spend some time together, no matter your rowing level.
My album tries to reflect this: a wide range or rowers from the 11yo beginner to the 77yo master and including the 25yo international rower. The location is amazing – a flat lake with a medieval castle over a cliff, as well as one or two master homes – also on cliff. Some magnificent orange colors, fog in the morning and sun in the afternoon. Well not enough sun to rise over +5°C but hey, it’s Switzerland.
Glad I’ve seen my friends one last time before my departure to Sydney. Next week I will be covering the Baselhead.
Enjoy the album, HERE

Bonsoir Felix
ce sont de très belles photos que je vois sur le net, bravo. En plus je du admirer à travers les arbres de la berge du lac ou j’habite. C’est dommage que je n’ai pas pu participer à cette rencontre magnifique.
meilleurs salutations
